NONE
Hanging leg raises are an exercise for advanced exercisers who are not over weight.
If you do hanging leg raises when you are over weight, you will tighten your hip flexors which will lead to back problems in the future.
You should do Cardio and full body weight training to elevate your metabolism.

just do them until you cannot do anymore.

You can start with 5-10 twice a day. You say you are out of shape, so do as much as you can then add 2-3 more for good measure. Those extra ones will really give that workout feeling, so you will need to really push yourself. And don’t take long breaks between your reps.

I agree with ask the trainer. Hanging leg raises are tough and not only will it cause you problems you wont have the strength to do enough of them to make them an effective exercise. Also they wouldnt be enough on their own there are alot more muscles to work in the ab area than ones that can be hit by hanging leg raises.

id go for 10 each leg, repeat 3 times. should be just enough to call effort, but easy enough to stick with. increase by a total of 10 every fortnight as you get used to it.

Since I started to work out I was looking for a good weight loss product (I only wanted something 100% natural). I was on a diet but I felt that I needed a little “help” so I decided to try this great detoxification colon cleanse and I had fantastic results. You can check their website at
