I am a beginner runner and want to tone up my abs as well. I am running at least 30 minutes a day (5 days per week) and I am sticking to a healthy diet. I want to begin an ab routine that includes the basic crunch, the reverse crunch, and the oblique crunch. How many times a week is recommended for toning?

Do each exercise for 3 sets, no more than twice a week. Most folks over exercise the abs when starting in hopes that doing countless reps wil somehow speed things up.
