<p>Getting six pack abs is not at difficult but most of the people are mislead to think that working on machines is the only way to achieve the body of your dreams. Now I am not at all saying that working on machines doesn&#8217;t work at all. </p>
<p> But the idea that working on machines is the only way you can get a perfect body is totally a misconception. </p>
<p> If you really want to have six pack abs then you should know a very well known fact first and it is that everyone has six pack of abs. If you don&#8217;t see it then the reason is that it is hidden under the layer of fat. So the first thing that you should have in your mind is that you don&#8217;t have to work for six pack of abs but you already have them. What you have to work for is to loose the extra fat that is deposited on your body. Now this cannot happen overnight and so you must keep little patience.</p>
<p> Another thing required is to build a plan of action and no matter what just get stuck to it. Remember there is no need to go on weight loss pills or other fat burning supplements to get six pack abs quickly. Always remember the right way </p>
<p> is most of the times not the quickest of the ways. This will take time. </p>

<p><b>How do I get flat abs? </b>What a common question with a<br />
simple answer. No matter how many crunches you do, <b>unless you<br />
lose the layer of fat covering your abs, you will not show those<br />
sculpted abs.</b> Period. The basic concept to lose that<br />
unwanted abdominal fat is by combining cardio and abs exercise,<br />
and eating healthy. <b>Talking from my own experience,</b> I<br />
will share some simple steps to get flat abs with you, as I am<br />
on my way to revealing my own flat abs by saying solemnly<br />
<b>bye-bye to belly fat and welcome to those flat abs.</b></p>
<p>How many times have you heard that by doing 100s crunches a day<br />
you will get those sculpted abs? Well, this is not so. <b>If you<br />
have a high body fat percentage, the abs just won&#8217;t show no<br />
matter how much you work or how many repetitions you do,</b><br />
simple as that. It is logic, if we are carrying extra fat, toned<br />
muscles cannot show because they are being covered, precisely,<br />
by that unwanted extra fat. The only way to get rid of fat is<br />
not by targeting exercises, but by burning excessive fat by<br />
<b>doing cardio exercises and adjusting our meals.</b> In other<br />
words, showing abs does not happen only in the floor exercise,<br />
but also in the kitchen. </p>
<p><b>Abs exercises, just like any other muscle exercises, should<br />
be done at least every other day,</b> not daily. Muscles need<br />
time to recover. In my case, I am doing abs exercises every 2<br />
days, so I give my abs muscles 48 hours to recover. I make sure<br />
to consume enough protein too to help for muscle recovery and<br />
burn more fat. In a nutshell, eating better and exercising will<br />
maximize your efforts to lose weight and flatten your abs fast. </p>
<p><b>EATING HABITS &#8211; Helpful food/herbs for flat abs</b></p>
<p>Before starting with our abs exercise plan, it is important to<br />
adjust our eating habits too. Your diet, or as I prefer to call<br />
it &#8220;eating regime,&#8221; should consist of higher protein intake,<br />
moderate fat and moderate complex carbohydrate. Consuming high<br />
complex carbohydrate and not using all that energy will lead to<br />
stored fat; that is why a higher protein diet is advisable, not<br />
that you have to eliminate carbs. Carbs are necessary to have<br />
energy and properly body functioning. However, do not go to<br />
extremes, just be moderate, not like crazy pre-set diets.<br />
Eliminate all excess simple sugars and excess saturated fats. </p>
<p>You can use extra virgin olive oil as it is monounsaturated fat.<br />
Reality is that permanent weight loss requires a permanent<br />
change in eating habits; drastic diets are not the way to keep<br />
the weight off.</p>
<p><b>Drinking water is your other big step to get flat abs.</b><br />
Water flushes both waste and toxins from your body and maintains<br />
a sense of satiety while also flushing fat from your system<br />
before it can be stored. Water not only dilutes the digestive<br />
fluids, but also accelerates the passage of food. Drink at least<br />
8 glasses of water. How about burning extra calories with water?<br />
How? Drink cold water, and you can burn extra calories as your<br />
body warms it up. </p>
<p>About eating habits, many times, we tend to retain water or gas,<br />
which seems that we are accumulating &#8220;fat&#8221; when in reality it is<br />
&#8220;gas&#8221; for eating too fast or having foods hard to digest. <b>It<br />
is crucial to eat slowly, enjoy each bite, and do not swallow<br />
without appreciating all flavors.</b> The best suggestion to aid<br />
digestion is to have daily yogurt (good at fighting the bad<br />
bacteria and improving digestion), or add some type of &#8220;anise&#8221;<br />
(either raw or as a tea infusion), the other option is by adding<br />
digestive enzyme aids. </p>
<p><b>A great mistake is skipping breakfast.</b> As many<br />
nutritionists highlight, this is the main meal because is like<br />
fuel to the body. After sleeping, we need to recover water and<br />
add protein to our bodies as well as fiber. Ideally, oatmeal is<br />
great for breakfast with enough carbs, fiber, and low in sugars.<br />
Besides, it helps reduce cholesterol.</p>
<p>For dinner, you can have some chicken with salad because you<br />
need to have some type of protein to help you burn fat, build<br />
muscle and do not only limit only to salads, which is mostly<br />
&#8220;low glycemic carbs&#8221; &#8230; or better said, water. Also, remember<br />
of not adding heavy extra calorie dressing. You can use balsamic<br />
vinegar or lemon. If not having chicken, you can have a protein<br />
shake, yogurt, tofu, eggs, or any high protein meal.</p>
<p><b>These are suggested food/herbs to improve abs and to fight<br />
bloated feeling.</b> </p>
<p>Ginger Anise Celery Fennel Onion Garlic Green tea YOGURT (non<br />
fat or low fat) Leek Raw sesame seeds Watermelon Strawberries</p>
<p>You can include them in your daily regime by either eating them<br />
raw, cooked, or drinking tea, accordingly. I cannot emphasize<br />
enough the importance of drinking Green tea. This is my main<br />
magical drink because it speeds up my metabolism and sets it to<br />
a fat burning mode. I prepare a cold pitcher of green tea for<br />
the day. Sometimes, I drink it hot too. Generally, for the cold<br />
pitcher, I combine it with ginger and anise, and that is my main<br />
arm to combat fat and bloated feeling.</p>
<p>I suggest you eat every 3 hours to keep your body in &#8220;fat<br />
burning mode.&#8221; Naturally, I am talking about small portions, not<br />
super size portions. For instance, I eat every 3 hours, keeping<br />
2 main meals and the other 4 snacks, including protein in all 6,<br />
especially for breakfast and dinner. </p>
<p>Do not go into drastic diets because if you drop your calories<br />
too drastically, your body may opt to use muscle tissue for<br />
energy instead of fat. Moderation is the key. Many people who go<br />
on fad diets look so soft because they lose almost as much<br />
muscle mass as fat. <b>Many studies have shown that the majority<br />
of people, who use drastic diets, will gain the weight back, if<br />
not even more than they lost.</b> To make it personal, I was one<br />
of those statistics. I fell many times into the yo-yo cycle<br />
until I said no more! <b>I rather lose weight and keep the weigh<br />
off, than just a quick fake weight loss.</b> How about you?</p>
<p>Nutritional supplements are good to aid your program, but as the<br />
word says, <b>they are just supplements.</b> Your supplements<br />
cannot do the work for you if you are not eating and exercising<br />
properly. For instance, <b>when I am running out of time, and<br />
cannot have my protein meal, I drink a protein shake.</b></p>
<p><b>EXERCISE TIPS FOR BELLY FLATTENING &#8211; DEFINING YOUR ABS</b></p>
<p><b>You can expect to feel or see results in as little as 2 weeks<br />
by combining cardio and abs exercises and your eating<br />
regime.</b> A combination of carbs and protein are needed for a<br />
pre-workout meal. Exercise tips for a faster belly-flattening<br />
plan include different sets of exercises, at least 3 times per<br />
week 30-45 minutes cardio, and 2-3 times per week abs exercises.<br />
(I use weight lifting training too.) <b>here is no such thing as<br />
magical fat spot reducing.</b> It is a matter of lowering total<br />
fat levels; as you lose fat, it will come off automatically all<br />
over your body-not just in specific spot areas.</p>
<p>Do 2-3 sets for each exercise. Each set consists of 15 to 20<br />
repetitions of each exercise. For every exercise, move slowly to<br />
make the muscle work: 2 or 3 seconds up, hold 1 second, and 2 or<br />
3 seconds down. The point here is to fatigue the muscle, not on<br />
how fast you can do an exercise. You can rest about 90 seconds<br />
between sets.</p>
<p> <b>Note:</b> If you cannot do 2 sets, it is ok. Start with one;<br />
the important thing is to start, take action to see results. Do<br />
not get discouraged; just try your best.</p>
<p><b>Crunches</b></p>
<p>1. Lie flat on your back with your feet flat on the ground (or<br />
resting on a bench with your knees bent at a 90 degree angle,<br />
three to four inches apart) </p>
<p>2. Place your hands lightly on either side of your head keeping<br />
your elbows in. Tip: Don&#8217;t lock your fingers behind your head.</p>
<p>3. The key is to push the small part of your back down in the<br />
floor to isolate your abs muscles. </p>
<p>4. Roll your shoulders off the floor; continue to push down &#8211;as<br />
hard as you can&#8211; with your lower back to fatigue the muscle. </p>
<p>5. Shoulders should come up off the floor &#8211;only&#8211; about four<br />
inches, while your lower back remains on the floor. </p>
<p>6. Concentrate on crunching together rather than moving your<br />
body upwards to maximize muscle tension. Contract your muscles<br />
as tight as you can to cause them to fatigue, the movement<br />
should be like playing the accordion. This is more important<br />
than doing quick repetitions.</p>
<p><b>Note:</b> Another option is exercise ball crunch</p>
<p> <b>Reverse crunches</b></p>
<p>1. Lie face up on the floor, place hands on the floor or just<br />
behind the head. 2. Bring the knees in towards the chest bent to<br />
about 90 degrees, with feet together or crossed. 3. Contract the<br />
abs to curl the hips off the floor, reaching the legs up towards<br />
the ceiling. 4. Use slow movements, emphasis is to use your abs<br />
to lift your hips not swinging the legs.</p>
<p><b>Bicycle </b></p>
<p>1. Lie face up on the floor, lace your fingers behind your head.<br />
2. Bring the knees in towards the chest and lift the shoulder<br />
blades off the ground without pulling on the neck. 3. Pedaling<br />
movement: Straight the left leg out while simultaneously turning<br />
the upper body to the right, bringing the left elbow towards the<br />
right knee. 4. Now, switch sides, bringing the right elbow<br />
towards the left knee to complete the pedaling movement. 5. Do<br />
slow pedaling to feel muscle contraction &#8230; remember, is not<br />
about speed but about fatiguing the abs muscle.</p>
<p><b>Captain&#8217;s chair / Roman Chair (mostly found in gyms)</b></p>
<p>1. Stand on chair, grip handholds to stabilize your upper body,<br />
keep it firm. 2. Make sure you are pressing your back against<br />
the pad, now contract the abs to raise the legs and lift knees<br />
towards your chest. 3. Remember to be firm and don&#8217;t arch the<br />
back, repeat slowly&#8230;remember, emphasis is on the abs muscles. </p>
<p><b>Vertical Leg Crunch</b></p>
<p>1. Lie face up on the floor, extend the legs straight up with<br />
knees crossed. (or straight) 2. Contract the abs to lift the<br />
shoulder blades off the floor, as though reaching your chest<br />
towards your feet. 3. Keep the legs in a fixed position and<br />
lower to original position, but keep the legs extended.</p>
<p><b>Long Arm Crunch (my favorite)</b></p>
<p>1. Lie face up on the floor, extend the arms straight out behind<br />
the head with hands clasped, keeping the arms next to the ears.<br />
2. Contract the abs and lift the shoulder blades off the floor,<br />
the pressure should be from the abs, not the neck. 3. Hold, feel<br />
the contraction, and lower to original position. </p>
<p> <b>Super Abs Stretch</b></p>
<p>1. Lie face up on the floor, extend the arms straight out behind<br />
the head. 2. Bring down the arms, slowly, feel the abs muscle<br />
stretching. Movement is arms straight behind the head to next to<br />
the legs.</p>
<p>3. Up and down feeling the stretch, hold it and start all over.</p>
<p><b>Summarizing, targeting exercises will not work unless you are<br />
targeting your entire body by doing cardio exercises and<br />
eliminating fat.</b> Targeting upper, lower, inner, and outer<br />
abs muscles will not burn fat; they define the muscles. Burning<br />
fat is done by cardio exercises and by consuming healthy foods.<br />
Remember, I told you already, flat abs are not only done in the<br />
exercise floor, but in the kitchen. <b>Recipe:</b> Cardio, abs<br />
exercise, and eating healthy. Just to add a funny note and bring<br />
a smile, as my nephew Nadeem says, <b>&#8220;What do you call a dog<br />
with a fever that goes out to the snow? CHILLI DOG!!</b> &#8220;Ha ha<br />
ha.</p>
<p>Oh well, au revoir, auf wiedersehen, adios, arrivederci! It is<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many of us would love to have the six-pack abs.  Everywhere you look there are commercials or ads promising these wonderful abs, but what really works? There are many of these ads that say taking a supplement can give you the envious abs you&#8217;ve always wanted. Whether or not these supplement is still yet to be decided. One thing that we do know for sure is that hard work will get you the results you want.  </p>
<p>Not all the supplements that are available to you are safe. Who knows what they are putting in these supplements that will give you these great abs.  There have been reports of serious side effects resulting from taking these supplements. The good news is there is another way to get these great abs without having to take supplements and risking your health. With a little hard work, exercise and a healthy diet you can achieve great looking abs all on your own.  </p>
<p>First thing you will need to do is get some sort of journal to keep record of your exercise and diet program. You can choose whatever kind of journal you think will work best for you. If you want to use a little notebook that you can take with you to help you stay on top of your record keeping that is just fine. If you have a personal digital assistant you can invest in a program that will help you keep your records. Whichever way you decide will work better for you is what you need to do.  </p>
<p>The purpose of the journal is to keep track of your progress, and help find any areas that may need more attention. Information you will need to put in your journal will be what day it is, your weight, what exercise you are doing or did on that day, and your food intake. You will also want to make sure you record the time of each of these events to make tracking progress easier.  </p>
<p>You will also want to take your measurements weekly or biweekly depending on how dramatic of results you like to see and record these also. How often you weigh yourself is up to you as an individual, it all depends once again on how dramatic you want the results to be. Just remember that if you do it every day it may make you more aware of your goals and make you try harder to reach them. Whichever way you decide to go, just make sure you are weighing yourself at the same time of day each time.   </p>
<p>When you track this information it will make you more aware of what you need to work harder on the next day or week. If you have a record of what you did you can look and see if maybe you skipped a day of exercise, or didn&#8217;t eat very healthy. You want to make sure you are burning more calories than you are taking in. If you keep track of your how much food you ate and when you ate it, it will be easier to see when you need to watch more carefully. Maybe you are overeating everyday at the same time of day, if so your journal will help you see this so you can fix it.   </p>
<p>When keeping track of your exercise you will want to write down what type of exercise you did, when you did it, and how long you did it. Keep in mind that just doing sit-ups will not guarantee that six-pack you dream of.  You need to make sure you get rid of the fat so that you can see the great abs you are looking for.  </p>
<p>To maximize your results you will probably want to do aerobic exercise or cardiovascular exercise to burn fat and calories, strength training to create more muscle, and abdominal exercises. Strength training is important because muscle burns more calories than fat, and will help power your aerobic exercises.  Walking, swimming or training along with an aerobic exercise tape are all great ways to get you aerobic workout in. For abdominal work you can do regular sit-ups, or try something like Pilates. Pilates incorporates strength training for your abs and uses twisting movements to get better results. </p>
<p>Just remember that you should exercise four to five times a week, and keep an honest an accurate journal to maximize your results. You also need to realize that you will not get your dream abs overnight; it takes hard work and time.</p>

These are the main reasons most people just can not seem to get those six pack abs that everyone desires. If you haven&#8217;t already seen me around online somewhere, I&#8217;m the creator of one of the most popular abdominals and fat loss programs on the internet.</p>
<p>So in this article I want to highlight for you the main points and strategies that I use to make this program one of the most effective programs in existance for fully developing your abdominals as well as getting rid of that stubborn stomach fat that is covering them up.</p>
<p>Pay attention, because once you get this stuff right and start using these techniques regularly, you&#8217;ll be showing off your ripped abs in no time flat, whether it&#8217;s at the beach, at the pool, in the bedroom, wherever&#8230; Just think how great it&#8217;s going to feel when people are complimenting you on your washboard stomach!</p>
<p>Alright, here&#8217;s what make&#8217;s The Truth about Six Pack Abs different:</p>
<p>1. The main focus of this program is NOT abs exercises&#8230; And, better yet, this program consistently get&#8217;s better results by NOT focusing on abs exercises!</p>
<p>I know that sounds counterintuitive, but the fact of the matter is that abs exercises are ok, and you do need to do a certain amount of them to develop the abdominals as best as possible. But to be honest, most people that are trying to get better looking abdominals waste WAY too much time training the abs directly. What you really need to focus on is burning off the extra fat that is covering them up.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s get this straight right now&#8230; Abs exercises do NOT burn fat away from your abs! This can only be accomplished through a much more effective full body training routine that maximizes both your metabolic response and your hormonal response to your workouts. This is the main focus of my Truth about Six Pack Abs Program.</p>
<p>Now don&#8217;t get me wrong. It wouldn&#8217;t be an abs program if I didn&#8217;t show you the most effective exercises for developing your abdominals. I also give you detailed instructions and photos on how to do them right. But like I said, the main focus of this program is the secret method that I use to compile the full body training routines and maximize your fat burning effect.</p>
<p>This is the main reason that this program will be much more effective for you than any other abs programs you&#8217;ve ever tried before. You&#8217;ve got my word on that.</p>
<p>2. This program uses none of your typical boring monotonous cardio routines.</p>
<p>In fact, you don&#8217;t have to do any typical cardio if you don&#8217;t want to! I actually recommend against it.</p>
<p>Seriously, almost every program out there tells you that you must do endless cardio exercise regularly to lose the body fat that is covering your abs. Most of them tell you to do 30-60 minutes of cardio exercise 3-4 days/week in addition to your strength training routines.</p>
<p>The truth is that this is not only unnecessary, but it can actually be counterproductive if you&#8217;re really trying to get as lean as possible, as quick as possible. I go into this in much more detail in the book, but basically this all comes back to the aspects of your metabolic rate, how much lean muscle you have, the hormonal response in your body from the exercise, and the residual calorie burn in the hours and days following your workouts. And normal boring cardio routines are all wrong when it comes to maximizing these effects!</p>
<p>Now you&#8217;re probably thinking that since I&#8217;m against typical boring cardio routines, then that must simply mean I&#8217;m a proponent of interval training. Yes, as a matter of fact, I believe interval training is MUCH better than typical cardio.</p>
<p>However, I also use a special exercise combination and sequencing in my Truth about Six Pack Abs Program that gets even more powerful fat loss and muscle defining results than interval training. And that&#8217;s saying something, because interval training kicks butt! You&#8217;ll find out how this system works inside the program.</p>
<p>Want proof that you don&#8217;t need typical long-duration steady-pace cardio?</p>
<p>Well, first of all, I actually took a course recently that was devoted to scientific research into why steady-pace cardio exercise is actually not that effective at strengthening the heart. The focus of the research basically boiled down to the fact that the heart needs to be trained in a wide variety of ranges to actually be truly strengthened and ready for all the various stresses that life throws at it. Not only that, but steady-pace cardio was also proven in the research studies to be far less effective in the long term at reducing body fat stores.</p>
<p>To give you a real life example&#8230; Personally, I haven&#8217;t done what most people would label &#8220;cardio&#8221; in probably well over 5 years, and I&#8217;m actually leaner now and have a lower bodyfat % now than years ago when I did cardio regularly. Not only that, but my heart is in the best condition ever, as I now consistently have the resting heart rate of an elite athlete at about 50 bpm (remember that lower is better). My resting heart rate used to be in the mid to upper 60&#8242;s years ago when I used to do typical cardio and strength training routines like most people do.</p>
<p>This improvement in both body fat % and reduced resting heart rate is the direct result of the unique training methods I used in developing the programs in The Truth about Six Pack Abs.</p>
<p>3. This program does NOT revolve around having to use supplements or &#8220;fat-loss&#8221; pills.</p>
<p>Trust me when I say that for the most part, about 95% of supplements are a complete waste of your hard earned money. I&#8217;ve been approached by supplement companies in the past looking for me to promote their products for them, and offering me a lot of money to do so. Well, you know what I do? I tell them to shove it! Seriously, I won&#8217;t promote something to my readers that I don&#8217;t honestly believe in.</p>
<p>The fact is, I&#8217;ve learned over the years through my own experience, as well as hundreds of my clients and friends experiences with supplements, that they are really just selling you the dream that their pill or powder will be some &#8220;magical&#8221; solution to your struggle with getting that lean ripped body that you&#8217;ve been wanting for years. In reality, most supplements do nothing at all to help you improve your body.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t get me wrong&#8230; I&#8217;m not totally bashing supplement companies, but like I said, about 95% of the products they promote are worthless, and won&#8217;t create any noticeable changes in your body. I will admit that there can be a place for meal replacements for people that can&#8217;t find the time to prepare or pack all of their real food meals. I also admit that I do think a high quality, fast digesting protein like whey protein can be useful to mix into your post-workout smoothies.</p>
<p>But the fact is that real food is always better for you than processed supplements (as long as you pick the right &#8220;real foods&#8221;). Anybody that tells you otherwise has either been brainwashed by all of the propaganda and super-hyped up ads that the supplement companies have spread throughout every magazine on the planet, or they have financial ties to selling supplements in some way themselves.</p>
<p>I have dedicated myself to not being lured into the lucrative world of selling supplements. Even though I could make a lot more money selling supplements than by selling my abs program, it&#8217;s just plain against my morals to rip people off like that.</p>
<p>Frankly, it amazes me that most people are more willing to spend $30, $40, even $50 or more on a bottle of pills or powder than to spend $30 on a comprehensive training and nutrition guide like this Truth about Six Pack Abs program, which will set them up for life on training programs and dietary secrets that will keep them lean and ripped for life. The only thing that bottle of pills or powder is going to do is give you expensive urine! You make the choice.</p>
<p>4. This program does not revolve around using any fancy &#8220;ab machines&#8221; or &#8220;ab gadgets&#8221;.</p>
<p>In case you were suckered into buying any of these worthless ab belts, loungers, rockers, or any other worthless ab gadget or machine, I have bad news&#8230; You were ripped off!</p>

<p>Also, more importantly, virtually all of these abs machines, belts, and gadgets do absolutely nothing to burn fat off of the abdominal area!</p>
<p>Again, losing the fat that&#8217;s covering up your abs can only be accomplished with a smart nutritional program, and a well designed progressional training program that increases your metabolism and stimulates your fat-burning hormones in your body. Achieving this is simple once you understand the secrets I reveal in the Truth about Six Pack Abs program.</p>
<p>5. This program does not include some sort of fad diet or gimmicky diet trend.</p>
<p>None of that here. I promise you won&#8217;t be given any more crap about needing to eat &#8220;low-carb&#8221; or &#8220;low-fat&#8221;, or low or high anything, for that matter. The nutritional secrets I reveal in this program go against all of the authors and companies out there that are trying to lure you in with another one of their gimmicks.</p>
<p>The fact is that they need to come up with some sort of different &#8220;angle&#8221;, so that their diet program appears unique and gives the media something to talk about. That&#8217;s why there&#8217;s always some gimmick, like low-fat, or low-carb, or high protein, or the &#8220;colors diet&#8221;, the &#8220;low glycemic index diet&#8221;, the fasting diet, the cabbage diet, and so on.</p>

<p>The great thing is that once you start eating balanced and healthy all the time, you virtually eliminate cravings altogether. Personally, I used to crave sweets constantly before I adopted the nutritious diet that I currently eat. Now, I can honestly say I can&#8217;t remember the last craving I had. It had to be more than 5 years ago&#8230; no joke!</p>
<p>Not only that, but I actually enjoy everything I eat way more than I used to years ago when I ate a lot of junk. Does that mean that I never eat burgers, or pizza, or beer?
