when I jog my knees feel a bit uncomfortable sometimes after and during running – no pain, just uncomfortable. I figure strengthening the knee muscles will help this?

I have a hard time with squats now because of pain in both knees. They click and crack (which I believe is a tendon or cartilage issue) but MAN do they ache after squats, even body-weight squats! I’d love to be under the big plates again, but I am afraid 300-400lbs on the bar would blow them out the sockets. Getting shot through both legs didn’t help either, but the damage there was not to the knees. I retired from street work in 1998 and now work behind a desk -which makes matters WORSE!

It’s typical for a knee to click after an injury.. mine clicked for about a year after I tore my MCL… It was pretty nasty.
