The general observation about cellulite appearance is that women who are on the heavier side of the weighing scale are more susceptible to developing cellulite. However, it does not mean that slender women have nothing to worry about. Genes are generally a determinant, but your body style, or the profile of your body also determines whether cellulite will appear on your frame.

In these body types, cellulite usually forms occur in the hips and thighs.

These women very slightly prone to developing cellulite and in the event they do it is restricted to the hips or the back side of the thighs. A general lean appearance with long arms and legs represent this body type. A fast metabolism helps to keep weight off the body.
