weight lifting abs
Is it ok to work out , lift weights , abs , tightening pectoroids etc… during teen years ? I’m asking this question because I’ve heard that working out when the body is growing reduces growing chances and other things like that. Is this true ? Thks.

Your growth is genetic, and will not be effected by weight lifting. If you are going to be tall, then lifting weights will not hinder you, but if you are destined to be short, then unfortunately that is what will happen. Just hope you are the tall one.

Bear in mind that bone growth at that age is not complete, so joints could be put under excess strain, etc. Do not use big weights.

it will actually help you grow because your muscle fibers will enlarge when you lift and if you take protein powder(except soy protein) it will enhance growth even more but like another guy said its genetic and if your genes and alleles say your short then you will be but weight lifting gets the hormones and muscles raging so youll grow more
